Gifts

I testified about this story tonight... "a couple of years ago when my parents came to my house for my oldest daughters wedding, they brought a long some Christmas presents that they had bought for the girls and hadn't sent at christmas. however, they never gave them to my girls. After they had gone back home I realized "hey they didn't give the girls their gifts" and so I asked mom about it... she said you all have so much in your house I didn't think they needed it. Well, it kind of hurt me that my kids didn't get their gifts and I felt cheated somehow... then God impressed upon my heart - how many times we go to church and He has good gifts for His children, but their lives are too cluttered to receive them, or they don't even allow Him to give them the gifts and they go home without them. If you are in need of a gift from God tonight, don't go to bed tonight without praying and asking God to give you the gifts He has for you... the gift of the Holy Ghost, the gift of Peace, the gift of Love, etc.... It is the Father's good pleasure to give gifts unto His children. I don't know about you, but I want my gift!!!
