PALM SUNDAY

Had a wonderful service at Hopewell this morning.  Had two first time visitors, a husband, wife team.. Bro. Randy preached a very good message about Palm sunday and told that Hozanna meant "Save"  and how all the crowd was thinking that Jesus had come to save them from the roman rule and that He would be the next "King David" and set their earth to rights.  When they found out later that week that Jesus was not to be an earthy King they no longer wanted anything to do with Jesus and were part of the same crowd crying "crucify Him.."  They just went along with the crowd and did what everybody else did.  we got to stop worrying about what everybody else does and do what God wants us to do.  After the preaching the new man went to the altar as I was playing the closing hymn.  Then after he went back to his seat Bro.Randy asked if anyone had anything they wanted to say and I asked if I could sing another song that I felt and I sang "It'll be different"..  the Power of God was really strong.  Bro. Randy had all of us come together in a circle and hold hands and pray for Sis. Nancy Kinchen's brother- Joe Connor - he is having serious health problems.  you could feel the unity of the prayer and know that God heard it and after we finished Sis. Nancy hugged me real tight and told me she really loved my song today.  They are wonderful people and God is doing great things.
After church I took a care packet over to Ms. Clara - some of the tuna salad, potato salad and banana pudding I made yesterday.  I also took her a couple of tea bags and a packet of pop corn.  And some foot cream.  She has been having trouble with her feet and can't bend over to clip her nails and they had gotten so long and thick.  I clipped and filed at them for a long time.  Didn't get them completely filed down but she said they were 10 times better.  I prayed with her too and gave her a prayer cloth.  I just love her so much and believe that God is going to give her the Holy Ghost, she says she wants it, but she hasn't got it yet.
So it has been a wonderful day in Jesus!
