Our themes were:
2000 - A Family Christmas to Remember (had minibooks of photos from us from many years all over the tree)
2001 - Our Patriotic Christmas (red white and blue, we left our tree up ALL year in honor of our soldiers - this was the year the war started. wrote patriotic songs.
2002 - All Creatures Great And Small - had our program in the den - jungle theme and I wrote songs that were neat and talked about "The Eye of the Tiger"
2003 -Baby Steps To The Cross - Mark made a cross that depicted the girls' goals for their life at the base and then hidden in the very bottom we had a organza bag with money in it for each girl.
2004 - A Very Victorian Christmas - Mark gave the girls a promise token that they have to give back to them at their weddings.
2005 - A Christmas of Music - bought the girls musical instruments
2006 - The Love Of God - Mark and His dad built each of the girls a hopechest. I bought the wood, the pattern and the stain.
2007 - Sleep In Heavenly Peace - talked about the song Silent Night. bought the girls and Mark and I beds, sheets and all the comforts of sleeping peacefully. Marisa and Jakes bed/gift doubled as a wedding gift as they got married 2 months later. the other girls get their beds when they get married or a permanent residence.
2008 - Christmas Will Always Be In Fashion - talked about the importance of modesty - how we should dress and act as a Christian. Had a fashion show. lots of fun stuff.
2009 - The Christmas Rose - had the song "When God Unfolds the rose" had photo album/slide show from the high points in oru life, spiritual journal, etc. Israel Jacob's 1st Christmas.
2010 - Jesus The Faithful One - songs of Faith, Prayer of Faith prayer wall, Hall of Faith - lot's of neat stuff happening, can't give it all away.
