Lord, You know all about us.. about the hurt that we don't know how to deal with, the loneliness, the emptiness. If we rely on the arm of the flesh we will buckle, we will cave, we will wallow in self pity. Jesus, You were tempted in all points as we are, but I am sure You know nothing about self-pity, even when You... felt abandoned and forsaken, You still resisted temptation. Help us to be more like You and less like the selfish and uncomprehensible people we can be. Help us Oh Lord, Help me.
Thank God for His love and mercy and for allowing me to have another day.
