REMEMBER WHEN: a new thing I am posting on facebook

1.Remember when: remember when you were growing up and you always had a crush on some guy who would never in a million years like you back... and the geeks that always were crushing on you? lol...

2. Remember when: remember when you did something really embarrasing and you tried to make it look like it was something intentional just to save face? - lol

3. Remember when: as a teenager my parents would buy ice cream in those paper cartons and I would sneak down in the night and then would squeeze the sides of the carton in to make it seem fuller to try to hide the fact that I had raided the fridge. (lol) do you remember doing something like that?

 Rod O'Neil How about seal-a-meal to conceal you raided Moms bag of Kraft caramels Until you sealed too far. Sealed the nutrition label and front label(too obvious)

4. Remember when: remember when in Sunday School the SS teacher would encourage students to memorize scripture by having prizes for the ones who could quote the most? wonder why we could only count "and the Lord spake unto Moses and Aaron saying... " verses only once. lol. :>

5. Remember when: the only time it was ok to watch tv was at grandparents house.. and it never failed when you were really into a cartoon grandma would start up the hand mixer to beat the potatoes and the cartoon would be all wavy lines and snow... lol

7.  Remember when: remember when you were so into reading a book that if someone came into the room and broke the spell you would litterly jump out of your skin... lol

8.  Remember when: remember in school how grown up and important you felt when you could correctly spell words like Language and Schedule. ahhh those were the days. :>

9. Remember when: remember when you would intentionally rub poison ivy and/or poison oak leaves all over your arms and legs in hopes to get the rash so you could stay home from school and you never got the rash... but now you run from the stuff and it finds you anyway.

10. Remember when: remember when you would jump at the chance to babysit for a dollar an hour.... now the going rate is like $8 dollars an hour and it still doesn't seem to be enough. :>

11. Remember when: remember when you would get into trouble and your momma would look you right in the eyes and she would be so angry that her eyes would be all jumping and throwing darts and it scared the fire out of you even before the switching came.


Dianna Stakley Boy, we still need that discipline today...then kids wouldn't be shooting each other,etc.!!! But nooooo....the liberals call that abuse. Course anything that's Biblical they have a problem with!! Hence, the pathetic state of the world today!!!
 
12. Remember when: remember when you talked too much in school and had to move your desk to sit right by the teacher. or in Sunday school and you got marched up to the front row.
 
13. Remember when: remember when you were traveling and your parents or siblings would be saying things like "look at the plane" or some other landmark, but you were daydreaming or reading or something but then you would realize what they said and you are like "where?" and they would be laughing at you because it was like five minutes later.
 
14. Remember When: remember when you had to write your thoughts each day in a locked diary.. A diary that started "dear diary".... lol. Now who has time for locked diarys... now we have facebook. :>

15. Remember When: remember when our school field trips took us to places like Conner's Prairie, Billy Creek, and Spring Mill... awwww.. those were fun days.
 
16. Remember When: remember when school didn't begin in the fall until after Labor Day? Now it seems like the summer gets shorter and shorter.
 
17. Remember When: remember when you ladies were little girls and all the men wore black suits to church. More than once did I call the wrong man "daddy".. :>
Thank God for His love and mercy and for allowing me to have another day.
 
18. Remember When: remember when we would have Labor day services which was a day of services and a nice lunch there at KHT in Terre Haute.

Rhonda K Peters Oh my gosh, I had forgotten that! It was a day of ministry and then a feast. I do remember it.

19. Remember When: remember when your brother would ride your girls bike and left you to ride the boys bike. falling off the seat onto the bar was not a fun ride.
