TGIF

Someone posted on my FB comments that TGIF = today God is first! I like that too, but as for me everyday I try to put God first. I am thankful that today is Friday! I got called in to sub this morning at the middle school and the boy I was assigned to was a blind boy in a wheel chair. He had a cold and his granny had given him benedril so all he wanted to do today was sleep. When we couldn't even get him awake to eat at snack time and then again at lunch, they called his granny to tell her that all he is doing is sleeping and so they came and picked him up at noon and I signed out and came home.
It was an interesting experience though. The regular teacher in that room had me go with her when it was time to change the boy's diaper and we had to use a chair lift on him. She did all the changing and stuff, I just kept his hands away so she could change him. We thought that would wake him up, but he went right back to sleep.
We have so much to thank God for!

Thank God for His love and mercy and for allowing me to have another day.
