Took the day to regroup.

Today is Monday, president's day.  I thought that I would make the most of this holiday and get a lot accomplished, but I woke up with a fever blister and I didn't feel like doing much of anything... so basically I wasted the day.  I played typing maniac on Facebook  hour after hour but could never beat my highscore.  made me very frustrated and I didn't want to give up in defeat, but after my fingers got sore from playing so much and my back muscles began to ache I finally gave up.  I wished that i could have had a different story to relate.  I wish that I would have spent the day visiting with my elderly friends, or working in my studios.  But at least I am refreshed and ready for a productive day tomorrow.  I did talk to two friends on the phone who need prayer for loved ones and I had an email that I answered from another dear friend who has been through a lot.  Taught one guitar lesson, did a load of laundry, made a good lunch and a snack for my hubby and I.  I talked to Melissa a couple of times on the phone today too.  I put campho on my fever blister and then choaked from the smell.  I don't like that stuff at all.  Hopefully my blister will be healed by tomorrow and I hope the snow and ice is pretty much gone so I can go to Finger to teach music lessons.  I did listen to gospel music the whole time I played typing maniac so at least my soul got fed.
