I LOVE SUNDAY'S

Several years ago God opened the door for me to be pianist at a Missionary Baptist church.  Though this church is a very small country church - way out in the boondocks, the people are so loving and kind.  Sunday mornings are exciting because I usually wake up with a theme or a song that I know I am to sing and play out there that day and God always moves.  You know that if God can take my limited talents and abilities and use them to touch someone's else's life then it is a God thing indeed.  They know I am Apostolic Pentecostal and they know that I am praying for God to pour the Holy Ghost revival out on them.  I have had visions of several of them with hands raised, tears flowing down their faces and speaking in other tongues.  One Sunday the Pastor was preaching about the Comforter and was just heading to Acts Chapter 2 and all the sudden he stopped talking.  I thought perhaps he had lost his train of thought for a second or something but when it lingered on, I said "is he okay?"  Donnie (a new convert in the church there) ran up to the platform and I ran up behind him.  I called for the church to gather round and start praying for Bro. Cupples.  The then assistant Pastor (now Pastor) of the church and the Deacon got behind Bro. Cupples and was holding him up.  It was like Bro. cupples wasn't even there, no response, he was white and cold.  However, I had my eyes closed and praying for him and others (Sis. Jeana and a few more) had also gathered in front of him and praying.  Sis. Jeana believes that he was dead.  She tesified later that we talk about God being with us all the time but we take it for granted, but she felt His spirit there in the church so strong that day and to see her pastor who wasn't moving or talking or anything, just a few minutes after we called on the name of Jesus and was praying over Bro. Cupples he was able to start stirring again and able to talk again.  Bro. Cupples had Bro. Neal conclude with the service and we sang several songs and had testimonies.  Someone had called for the paramedics while Bro. Cupples was out, but they didn't even arrive till after church was out and of course Bro. Cupples didn't even need them by then.  He did go to the doctor the next day and the doctor confirmed that his heart had stopped beating.  We give God the praise and glory for that miracle.  I told the church that day that the comforter that Bro. Cupples had been preaching to them about - when he had his spell, was the Holy Ghost.  And that the Holy Ghost was for them today.  I told them that it had been a group of Baptist women who were praying in the early 1900's, in the city of Los Angeles California on Azusa street, when the Holy Ghost was poured out and great revival began.  That it was from that Azusa street revival that the United Pentecostal Church was born, of which I am a member of.  That I am not trying to convert them to be a Pentecostal but that denomination doesn't matter at all to God... that we can enter any denomination and exit with the Apostolic experience.  Sis. Jeana wants the Holy Ghost.  Other's have felt the presence of God out there.  One Sunday we were singing about Surely The Presence of The Lord is in this place, and There's A sweet sweet spirit (those types of songs) and Bro. Randy's (the Pastor now) daughter was overcome with tears and sobbing.  Another time I was singing "Revelation Song" and as I was finishing singing and preparing to stop Bro. Neal motioned for me to keep going - it was then that I noticed that a man had come to the altar and was sobbing.    No, I haven't seen the Holy Ghost revival that is happening in St. Louis right now, but I know I will.  A neighbor lady of mine says that she wants the Holy Ghost... we went to pray with her and she prayed for a minute or two, but then stopped to tell us that she liked listening to us speak in other tongues and that my husband has such a beautiful Holy Ghost language.  We are like "Mrs.  Clara stop listening to us, and pray for yourself.  You can get this Holy Ghost too."  but so far she has not.  But I know she will.  I am experiencing great things at the Nursing Homes too.  The past few times, more than ever before, I have felt the anointing and can feel the presence of the Lord reaching out and touching lives.  God is doing a work... just because I haven't seen anyone fall out and talk in tongues yet, I still know who is in control and that if I continue doing what God has laid on my heart to do, and has opened doors for me to do then I will see great ministry results.  My music lessons too have been awesome.  Some times the presence of God is so strong in the room it is as if we were at church.  I am blessed beyond measure and I praise God for this opportunity.  I pray that God will use me to whatever capacity that He sees fit for me in 2010.  I want revival... Holy Ghost revival.  A HazelwoodUSA (24/7) round the clock Holy Ghost theme park revival... right here in good ole' Chester County TN.   I Believe!!!

Thank God for His love and mercy and for allowing me to have another day.
