Star Of Song Studios

Hi - I am Lisa Anne Kelley Peter aka... Star of Song and now with the addition of my new grandbaby I am also called GrandStar. For over 26 years I have been the wife of Rev. T. Mark Peter. We are the parents of Marisa Anne Peter Swartzentruber ( she and her husband Jake, and son Israel Jacob live in Hutchinson Kansas), Melissa Sharon Peter (currently in Hutchinson Kansas), and Melanie Clarissa Peter (currently living in Pueblo Colorado). Mark and I are not used to the empty nest and I miss my girls and grandbaby very much. I am a music teacher and I give private guitar, piano and voice lessons. I also am an educational interpreter for the deaf and hearing impaired and I occasionally teach ASL classes. I am a missionary to the elderly and shut-in's and sing at the Nursing Homes and Senior Centers four times each month. I have my own craft studio and a recording studio and a museum. My dream is to one day have a Pentecostal Theme Park called HazelwoodUSA. My daughters and I have an ebay store PenTEENcostal Fashion and Design and a Etsy boutique - LisAndLis. I have a book published "Lyrics and Poems The Melody Of My Soul" it is available through any online bookstore. My family "The New Dimension Family Band" also recorded a CD featuring my oldest daughter Marisa - the CD is "God Said Yes". I hope to learn to blog and share my poetry and short stories and recipes and some of the quilts and crafts that I make. I am a member of our community christian writers group - it is called "Word Weavers" and we meet at our public library the 2nd Saturday of each month at 10 AM. That's about all I know to post right now. I tried blogging on thoughts.com but something happened to their computer and it lost all of my pictures. I hope that doesn't happen on here, because I would like to post alot. I also do swapping on swap-bot.com that is alot of fun and I have made a good penpal through that. I spend too much time on facebook, but do enjoy being connected to friends and family. I love victorian stuff and enjoy decorating my house and planning Christmas Themes each year. It is a lot of fun.
