I decided that I wanted to get a lot done in the studio today and so I spent the whole day in there. I wasn't sure what I would be doing, but ended up using my cricut machine and the cool little marking pens to mark a design onto 108 8 by 8 squares to be used as quilt blocks. I plan on hand embroidering each one, so I know I have my work cut out for me. (no pun intended). I also cut out a ton of paper doll shapes for another project I will be working on. Made some ritz and peanut butter dipped in white chocolate and coconut goodies. Made scrambled eggs and bacon for Breakfast, had a salad for lunch and snacked on the crackers, and had a banana. Shame on me for eating the crackers, but to make up for it I did walk at least a half mile. I beat my high score on Typing Maniac today also. (I would play a level as the cricut was marking each square. Personally I think I found the key to my success. I don't think I stressed or freaked out as much, and that is why I made it to a higher level). Had one hour lesson scheduled for this evening but they had a situation arrive and so we rescheduled the lesson for Monday. This morning early I got caught up on several swap-bot email swaps and rating partners and hosts of swaps I had completed. My hubby and I had daily devotions. One of my friends dropped by to see me. One of my daughters called and talked to me. Won a bid on Ebay for a cricut cartridge that I wanted. So it has been a very good day.
Thank God for His love and mercy and for allowing me to have another day.

It never dawned on me to use a Cricut to draw out quilt squares. 108 is a very ambitious project.
