Israel Jacob's month b-day

My grandson turns 22 months old today. Hard to believe that my life has been this much brighter and this much sweeter in just 22 months of time. TYJ. Excited also that my new grandbaby is due to make an appearance any day now. due date is Aug 11th. I know Israel Jacob will be glad to have a sibling.

Tulsa

My sweet baby boy is in Tulsa this week. - Makes me sick that I have no lessons today or tomorrow, but Mark has to work. - would have been a nice get away to go meet up with my kids. but we did that last year. I love you Israel Jacob!!

Israel and VBS

Melissa was telling me on the phone last night about it being the last night of VBS and how that they were giving certificates to the kids that had been there to every service. Well Israel was one of those and was sitting with Melissa and she asked him if when they called his name if he was going to walk up there and get his certificate. well sure enough when they called his name he went right up there and got it just like a little man. so cute. but somehow he hit his head coming back and so he cried when he got back to Melissa. but so so proud of our little fella. what a big guy!!

happy month b-day (June 27) to my Grandson Israel Jacob!!

I am so sorry that I thought yesterday was the 26th all day and it hit me like a ton of bricks in the early morning hours that I forgot to post on fb a month b-day wish for my Grandson. - I did have a dream about him and his momma the night before, so I guess subconsciously I did know. ">

Dreamed that Marisa and Israel and Melanie were in a recreational vehicle (like a four wheeler truck) with a group of guys from colorado and that I was concerned because Israel was not in his carseat (even though Marisa did have one in the back) and that I was concerned also because Marisa and Israel had just been here and I didn't think I had the money to get them a flight back home, and the guys (I don't know who they were) said, "Oh don't worry about that, we will drop them back off in Hutchinson on our way back to Colorado." - lol, Marisa would never be allowed to ride with a rowdy bunch without Jake this close to her baby's birth. and for sure Israel Jacob wouldn't be out of a car seat in a wild riding vehicle like what was in my dream. - I wonder why Melanie was in there, and why she was with all those guys? - my dreams amaze me. lol But I think it is just because I miss my kids and subconsciously I think that maybe Melanie will be coming home with a guy not too far off in the future and Marisa could be her chaperone?? Idk. - brains do funny things. :>

June 21 - Tuesday

Marisa posted on facebook that she bought Israel a froggy potty chair and he used it. so proud of our little fella.

missing my bosom buddy...

I have really enjoyed the 10 days that Marisa and Israel and my new unborn grandchild has spent with us. Israel kept me busy with his cuteness and smartness. He is a very intelligent and creative little man. I took a lot of pics and posted on facebook, but need to transfer some of them here to this blog. Was glad that Israel got to go to the Chilton family reunion with us in Terre Haute and meet up with some of his cousins and other family.

God is good. I am blessed!

took Israel to the mall... he had to ride the little trains and then after he rode twice he wanted more and we told him no.. and so when we were walking away holding his hands, he stops walking on his feet and starts walking on his knees. we laughed so hard, what a silly willy. lol

Marisa and Israel are coming today

We will be heading to Memphis this afternoon to pick Marisa and Israel from the airport. Yayay!! TYJ

Next week this time Mr. Israel will be here!!

Next Monday, June 6th we pick Marisa and Israel up at Memphis airport. That means that this time next Tuesday it will be a play date!! - I am already thinking of all the trouble we can get into. Have ordered ice cream sandwiches, oatmeal raisin cookies and pizza and bread from schwan's. - you know I am planning on doing a bit of spoiling!. :>

Lisa Anne Kelley Peter oh yeah. looks can be deceiving. lol. When his momma was holding him he would look at me to get my attention and then when I would even act like I wanted him, he would snuggle right up to his momma and play my emotions. He knew he had something I wanted (him) and it made him very impish.

phone call

today my cell phone rang twice and I went to get it and it said missed call from Melanie. So I immediately called it right back and Melissa answered and said that Israel had called me. So I talked to him for a few minutes and told him to tell auntie Melissa to give him a cookie. He got all excited and started jabbering to Melissa and she got the phone and asked me wht I had said and then told me he had had cookies and a pickle and all sorts of things. lol

so glad God touched my little fella...

Israel was running high temperatures this weekend and just wanted Marisa to hold him all the time. I suggested her bathing him in epsom salt and to continue praying for him. later that day he was up running around and being more of his normal self even though he still felt a little warm. I thank God for touching him and for helping us to know what we can do to make him more comfortable during these times. TYJ

I am sooo missing my Grandson

As I was doing my 3 mile walk this morning through the house with the Leslie Sansone DVD I kept walking past the hall collage of Israel Jacob at 6 months old when he came for a visit. He is such a cutie. I miss him so very much. All of my thoughts of him bring pleasure and such delight. He is definately a precious gift of God and such a wonderful addition to our family. Soon his little brother (or sister) will be here. I have been feeding Marisa idea's on names for the new little one. Of course God already has a name for that baby and He will help them come up with the perfect name. I told Marisa that she can't name the baby David (even though I love the name David) because if she names him David he can rise up to try to rule over his big brother because "David was the King of Israel". lol of course if God wants that baby to be named David that will be fine with me and I know that big brother Israel Jacob will be able to hold his own on that one. :> - I also suggested the name Christian Andrew.. I saw the name Christian come up on facebook of one of my friends has a young one by that name. and I just said Andrew because the An (for Anne).. but Anthony would work as well. But like I said, this is GrandStar butting in. I will just let them come up with their own beautiful name.
and if it turns out to be twins or a girl, that is perfectly fine too. Whatever God wants.
